Procedure to become a LIC Agent


LIC Agents must have to shine bright to stay in the industry with special skills and efforts. He must works in the Life Insurance Corporation of India.


Eligibility Criteria for becoming LIC Agent


1. Minimum Education Qualification 12th Pass  ( HSC )
2. Minimum Age 18 years ( no age limit )

Document Required

Date of Birth 

Certificates and proof SSC 

10th Passed Mark Sheet.

ID proof 

Voter ID card

PAN Card, Passport

Driving License

Adhaar Card.

Photos

3 passport size photographs required for document.

Address Proof

Rashan Card, Passport, Driving License, Bank Statement, Electricity Bill, Driving License, Telephone Bill, Voter ID, Pan Card.

Educational proof 

HSC / 12th passed marksheet/ Certificate or Bachelor marksheet

Procedure for getting License to work as Insurance Advisor/Agent


The career of the LIC Agent starts after the training and clearing the exam.

Visit our office and complete the above registration form with proofs. 

Then attend the 25 hours training covering online or offline of Life Insurance Business.

After the training sit for Pre-Licensing examination conducted by the Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority.

After clearing the exam you are awarded a License by the IRDA to work as an insurance agent for the company.
